Who we are

CrewNavio is a service booking and field service platform made and run by Ravalak Web Solutions, 304 Main St S, Suite 102, Unit 293, Airdrie, Alberta T4B 3C5, Canada. In this policy “we” means Ravalak Web Solutions. Questions or requests: info@crewnavio.ca.

Companies (our customers) use CrewNavio to run their business. Each company has its own private platform. The company decides what information about its team and its customers goes into its platform; we store and process that information on the company’s behalf and only to provide CrewNavio to it. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Company account: the owner’s name, email, phone, business name and address, and billing details. Card payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
• Team members: name, email, phone, password (stored only as a one-way hash), two-step sign-in settings, schedules, time sheets, vehicle and job photos, notes, chat messages and safety forms.
• The company’s customers: the names, contact details, service addresses, bookings, service records, products used, photos, signed agreements, invoices and payments that the company or its customers enter.
• The CrewNavio app: a sign-in token for your phone, the phone type (for example “iPhone”), a push notification token if you allow notifications, and photos you choose to take in the app. The app keeps your upcoming jobs and any changes you make on your phone until they sync, so it works without a signal.
• Technical: the cookies needed to keep you signed in, and server logs (IP address, browser and pages requested) kept for security.

The app does not track your location, does not use advertising or analytics tools, and does not access your contacts. It uses the camera only when you tap to take a photo.

How we use it

To provide CrewNavio: signing people in, showing schedules and routes, booking and reminding customers, recording work, sending invoices and receipts, taking payments, sending notifications you have turned on, providing support, keeping the service secure and backed up, and billing the company. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run CrewNavio, each bound to protect it: our Canadian hosting provider; Stripe (subscription and card payments); email and text message delivery providers; Apple and Google (to deliver push notifications to phones); map and address services such as OpenStreetMap (to show maps and work out routes and service areas); and Google Calendar, only if a team member chooses to connect it. Tapping “Directions” opens the address in your maps app. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Where it is stored

CrewNavio is hosted in Canada. Some providers above (for example Stripe, Apple and Google) may process information in other countries, under their own privacy protections.

How long we keep it

For as long as the company uses CrewNavio, or as the company needs for its own records and legal obligations (for example invoices and pesticide application records). When a company closes its account, we give its data back on request and then delete it. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information. Team members can request account deletion inside the app (Settings → Delete my account) or by emailing us; the request goes to your company and to us, and we complete it within 30 days, except records your company must keep by law. Customers of a company that uses CrewNavio should contact that company first; we will help it respond. You can turn notifications off in your phone’s settings at any time.

Security

Each company has its own private database and file storage, every connection is encrypted (https), team sign-in uses two-step verification, passwords are hashed, and the platform is monitored and backed up.

Children

CrewNavio is a business tool for adults and is not directed at children.

Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be emailed to company owners.
